Wellness from the Finnish Nature – Ruoka, matkailu ja sauna hyvinvoinnin lähteenä (2026/01/01 – 2028/12/31)
Designing and implementing a wellness industry trend study of Japan in relation to Finnish and particularly North Karelian actors. The aim is to identify business opportunities regarding food, tourism, sauna, and wellness. The trend study is performed through desk research, expert interviews, and trend analysis.
My contributions will create two deliverables: a written report as well as a presentation that will suggest concrete steps for how North Karelian actors should proceed with their Japan market entry.

Pohjois-Karjalan Metsäbiotalouden ja Uniikin ruoan kansainvälisen kasvun ekosysteemi BIOSYS Japani (2023/11/01 – 2025/11/30)
Translating presentation materials and interpreting a Karelian Pie Workshop event in Sapporo, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan as part of the delegation’s Hokkaido visit in November 2024. I also organised a local reporter to attend the event, resulting in press coverage in Yomiuri Shinbun, a national newspaper with the largest circulation in Japan.
